IAS Educational Fund Meeting - Senegal

The IAS, le Conseil National de Lutte contre le Sida (CNLS) and l'Institut de Recherche en Santé, de Surveillance Epidémiologique et de Formations (IRESSEF) are proud to announce that the second series of IAS Educational Fund meetings took place in Dakar, Senegal on 27, 29 and 30 November 2016. Policy makers, implementing partners and clinicians gathered with HIV service providers, advocates, development partners and patient communities to discuss the latest science and question how that information impacts local epidemics.
During this event, leading HIV researchers and thinkers presented their ideas on how to effectively incorporate research into national plans to end the AIDS epidemic. Key issues discussed included HIV prevention technologies, test and treat, elimination of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, and HIV cure.
