IAS Educational Fund Meeting - Côte d’Ivoire
The International AIDS Society (IAS) and the African Network of Physicians for Care of People living with HIV/AIDS (RESAPSI) are proud to announce that the series of IAS Educational Fund meetings - A scientific response to HIV in West and Central Africa – Translating best practice into policy service delivery - were held on 3-5 December 2017 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

During this three-day meeting more than 120 experts in the HIV response in West and Central Africa, including policy makers, clinicians and community representatives, gathered to discuss the latest science and question how that information impacts the epidemic in the region.
Key issues discussed included HIV and HCV treatment and diagnosis, policy implementation for PrEP, and prevention, treatment and care for adolescent girls and women, as well as key populations and prevention.
