IAS-Lancet Commission on the Future of Global health and the HIV Response
The International AIDS Society-Lancet Commission published in July 2018 is a first of its kind assessment of the future of the HIV response in the context of a more integrated health approach.
The Commission’s report, Advancing Global Health and Strengthening the HIV Response in the SDG Era, aims to advance the vision of sustainable health for all, which undertook modelling studies in five countries to inform new insights and specific recommendations of HIV integration in health systems.
The report identifies concrete steps to synergize HIV and the broader field of global health from a diverse group of policy, finance, community and health services experts across health issue areas.
