IAS Governing Council

The IAS Governing Council is the thought leadership body of the IAS. It guides and contributes to the thematic work of the IAS, ensures compliance with the IAS Bylaws and the IAS Rules and Procedures, and represents the interests of IAS Members in the regions. The Governing Council also reviews the annual audited accounts and proposes its approval to the General Members' Meeting at each International AIDS Conference and each IAS Conference on HIV Science.
