Felipe Rogatto obtained his medical degree and specialization in infectious diseases at the State University of Campinas in Brazil. After finishing his training, Felipe worked as a consultant in infectious diseases and HIV, practicing in Brazil, Mozambique and Canada. In 2008, he started a transition to industry, maintaining a close focus on HIV, initially at AbbVie, then MSD and, since 2012, Gilead Sciences. Currently, Felipe leads the HIV Franchise Group of Global Medical Affairs, ensuring that the unmet needs of people affected by HIV are addressed and that innovation is successfully deployed to help us get to the end of the HIV epidemic.
