Ending HIV criminalization – lessons from Zimbabwe

The IAS Heart of Stigma programme, in partnership with the HIV Justice Network, is hosting a webinar titled, “Ending HIV criminalization – lessons from Zimbabwe”, to mark HIV Is Not a Crime Awareness Day. In 2022, the country repealed its HIV-specific criminal law, and in 2024, efforts to recriminalize HIV were successfully blocked.
