What inspires you to work in the HIV field?
I am living with HIV, and what inspires me is the resilience of our community, the fight against stigma, and the belief that everyone deserves dignity, equity and access to life-saving care.
What are your goals as an IAS change maker?
As an IAS change maker, my goal is to use my voice and lived experience as a person living with HIV to challenge stigma, amplify community voices and push for equity in healthcare access. I want to show that U=U is not just a medical fact, but a powerful tool for dismantling discrimination and restoring dignity. My vision is to connect global health conversations with the realities of people in rural and marginalized communities, where access and awareness are still limited.
I aim to create spaces where people living with HIV feel safe, valued and empowered to lead. By fostering collaboration between advocates, health systems and communities, I hope to inspire practical solutions that reach those most often left behind. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that every person, regardless of who they are or where they live, can thrive with equal rights and opportunities.
