What inspires you to work in the HIV field?

Working on viruses and exploring marine compounds for antiviral therapies at the Ocean University of China has broadened my understanding of virology and the potential of natural products for viral infections.

My passion for improving world health and solving one of the biggest public health issues of our day motivates me to work in the HIV area because until now, millions of lives are still impacted by the HIV and AIDS pandemic worldwide.

What are your goals as an IAS change maker?

As an IAS change maker, my primary goals are to contribute meaningfully to the HIV response, promote collaborative research, and utilize my background in virology and experience to explore new treatment options and enhance existing treatments for HIV.
