Recharge

A place to work, connect with others and reflect

Refresh

A place to obtain healthy and nutritious foods and beverages

Relax

A place to rest and find respite

The Positive Lounge is designed to facilitate and support dialogue and discussion. The aim is to reflect the needs and desires of a diverse group of delegates, providing a balance between quiet relaxation and daily activities informed by people living with HIV.

Positive Lounge guests will be able to rest from the business of the conference and use the services provided and opportunities to connect and network in a welcoming environment. At the same time, they can charge their phone or PC or enjoy a healthy refreshment and snack. The lounge is located on the ground floor in room AD11.

Come and say hello to the IAS 2025 Positive Lounge volunteers. They are equipped with active listening skills and will be able to assist with booking a short relaxing massage or creatively challenge you to contribute to the IAS 2025 collaborative collage artwork in progress throughout the conference.

During the Positive Lounge opening hours, we propose the following activities:

Rwandan pattern colouring corner

We will provide printable colouring sheets inspired by traditional local patterns, such as Imigongo art, to engage with and appreciate the richness of Rwandan heritage through the simple, enjoyable act of colouring.

Beading table: Make a Rwandan bracelet

We will provide beads inspired by the Rwandan flag and traditional jewellery styles, allowing participants to create their own bracelets.

Collaborative art canvas

We will provide a large canvas for attendees to contribute drawings and writings throughout the conference, creating a collaborative artwork.

The IAS 2025 Positive Lounge is brought to you with the generous support of Gilead Sciences.
