The success of IAS 2025, the 13th IAS Conference on HIV Science, depends heavily on volunteers!
IAS 2025 will be looking for volunteers to take part in the Volunteer Programme for the conference in Kigali, Rwanda, from 13 to 17 July 2025, with pre-conferences on 13 July.

Volunteers’ roles
Volunteers help coordinate programme activities, greet conference delegates, assist with registration, act as guides during the conference, staff various offices and activities, and perform other crucial tasks.
Volunteers’ benefits
For the time and effort they dedicate to the IAS 2025 Volunteer Programme, volunteers will receive:
- Free in-person access to conference sessions when not on duty
- Lunch each working day
- A certificate of appreciation
- A free one-year IAS membership
Eligibility
To apply, volunteers must be:
- 18 years or older on 13 July 2025
- Available for at least three half-day shifts on three consecutive days during the conference
- Available for the three-hour mandatory kick-off meeting, activity training and venue walkthrough prior to the start of the conference
