Virginia Macdonald has worked in international public health for the past 20 years, with a focus on key populations, HIV and hepatitis prevention and testing. She has worked and lived in several countries in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as being part of the testing, prevention and populations team at the World Health Organization headquarters in Geneva, where she currently works in the global HIV, hepatitis and STIs programmes.
